I Love This Girl!

I can't look at these pictures without having a big smile on my face. Marli's personality comes out more and more everyday and she is so much fun!! She can be such a stinker and so sweet all in the same minute. Since we are together 24/7 these days she definitely keeps me entertained and I feel so lucky that I get to be her mom!!

Marli has reached a big milestone in her life - her little mullet has gotten long enough to now have pigtails!!! I swear they make her look like five years older.

Marli and Noah

Marli has loved having so many friends to play with and she was especially excited when Noah finally got here so they could play everyday! She constantly goes to the front door and says "Woah, Woah!". These two just can't get enough of each other (except for in the car when all Noah wants to do is tease Marli by putting his hand on her leg and then Marli will scream and Noah will copy her!). Fun in Fort Wayne

We have been staying in a hotel for the past 2 1/2 weeks while we wait for our apartments to be finished. Although it is nice having someone make my bed and free breakfast every morning, I cannot wait to have a little more space and finally get settled in! Yesterday we went to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. The kids all loved being outside and checking out the animals, especially the sea lions!!

And So It Begins...

Today is Reno's first official day of "Summer". We moved out to Chicago/Indiana this past week and Reno didn't waste anytime getting to work. I am so grateful that he is such a hard worker and want to wish him the best of luck this year!!

Marli 15 mos.

Engaged!

I don't know if it's because I still think he's 10 or because sometimes he acts like he's 10 (hence the picture), but I am still trying to accept the fact that my little brother is getting married!! Cory and Lyndsey got engaged last night and, all joking aside, I am super happy for them and excited to have Lyndsey as a part of our family.

CaboWabo

We just got home from the funnest vacation in Mexico. Our friends, the Jessops, invited us down to their house in Cabo for a long weekend with NO KIDS! and we definitely made the most of it. We relaxed by the pool and at the beach, went kayaking, whale watching and ate the most fabulous tacos ever!!

Thanks Tara for such a wonderful trip!

This pic may not look very exciting but that huge splash (much bigger in real life) was made from a giant whale leaping out of the water, I was just a little late with my camera.

GORDO LELE
This guy deserves a post of his own. Not only does he make the greatest tacos and yummy green sauce ever, but half way through our meal he jumps out from behind the grill and starts singing Beatles songs. Even though he speaks no english, he knows every word to those songs!!He is the sweetest man ever and you fall in love with him the minute he starts singing. But it doesn't stop there, we stopped in for one last taco before we had to go home and we couldn't find a parking spot... no problem - Gordo goes out and moves his car so that we could park there!!! If you are every in Cabo you have to stop and eat at Gordo's.
