We just got home from the funnest vacation in Mexico. Our friends, the Jessops, invited us down to their house in Cabo for a long weekend with NO KIDS! and we definitely made the most of it. We relaxed by the pool and at the beach, went kayaking, whale watching and ate the most fabulous tacos ever!!

GORDO LELE
This guy deserves a post of his own. Not only does he make the greatest tacos and yummy green sauce ever, but half way through our meal he jumps out from behind the grill and starts singing Beatles songs. Even though he speaks no english, he knows every word to those songs!!He is the sweetest man ever and you fall in love with him the minute he starts singing. But it doesn't stop there, we stopped in for one last taco before we had to go home and we couldn't find a parking spot... no problem - Gordo goes out and moves his car so that we could park there!!! If you are every in Cabo you have to stop and eat at Gordo's.

all i can say is that i am way jealous! i want to be laying out at the beach--it looks so nice! can't wait to see you guys in a few days.
Yahoo no kids. Way to go have a break. Ha ha I know I sound like a bad mom when I say that, but seriously it refreshes you and you miss your kids and you want to go home and squeeze them. Good thing right? I learned how to make skirts. You should come make some with me! My sewing partner...

Mel, your post really did the trip justice! You covered it all!! That was SUCH a fun trip and it was so much fun to just hang out with you guys for 5 days. I miss the warm sun already... big time. The weather here is horible! I love all the pictures you took - I'll have to get them all from you sometime. The sequence shot of the boys jumping in the waves is my favorite.
Melanie, I just found out that Reno sells security systems for APX. I work with Mallory Leo . . . I believe her husband is helping Reno manage this year. Cheers to you. Is this your second summer? We sold for APX a few years back . . . I know I am so old, but it was the summer of 2006.
